5th Generation Tomato Greenhouse

Based on the market analysis by NuFarm Tech, it has been established that there is an increased demand for tomatoes in Armenia and neighboring countries. The export potential of Armenia-produced tomatoes has been assessed and amounted to $45 mln. Meanwhile, as of now only $14 mln. worth tomatoes are exported, mainly to Russia. The company plans to install a 5th generation greenhouse to grow tomatoes on its land of 3000 sq.m. in the village of Norabats, Ararat Province, Armenia. The greenhouse will include smart farming techniques and will adopt AI-powered prediction models. The smart farming techniques will provide full control over the processes and crop production/health will be tracked and productivity will be improved using AI algorithms. Meanwhile, through the State Support program for the agricultural sector, the reimbursement of 50% of the construction costs for greenhouses are offered by the State.
