The European Union will provide Armenia with a grant of 32 million euros for the creation of school laboratories in natural and exact sciences, as well as engineering (STEM subjects). The agreement was approved at a government meeting. The program will include all schools in Ararat, Kotayk and Gegharkunik regions and 13 schools in the city of Kapan in Syunik region - about 340 schools in total. Laboratories will be built here, and teachers will be retrained in a new teaching methodology that will include non-formal education methods.
