Lalunz is an Armenian producer established in 2019 specializing in the manufacturing of the babies’ garments and corporate order-based outsourcing activities. The company produces stylish, comfortable, and high-quality clothes for children from 0 to 12 years old. The Lalunz textile factory covers an area of 400 sq.m. and is equipped with state-of-art piece cutting and spinning equipment, button fastening equipment and sewing machines (straight sewing, platform, zigzag sewing, beika, rubber fastening, etc.). The factory also has its own training center where the factory’s potential workers are trained for sewing, design, etc. through different modules starting from a 1-month to 24-month course. The successful graduates further join the factory as staff members. Lalunz is represented in the domestic market with 4 stores: 3 in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, and 1 in the city of Vanadzor.

Lalunz Textile Factory Expansion

Lalunz Factory sales have been exponentially growing over the past 3 years both in volume and monetary terms. As compared to 2019, when only 3000 units were sold out, in 2021 the company managed to sell 21000 units of its products, with 60% accounting for Lalunz Babies’ Garments and 40% for corporate orders. As such, the sales volume has increased 7 fold, while the number of employers has increased from 10 in 2019 to 28 in 2021, implying an additional increase in the labor productivity over the 3 year-span. With continuous orders both in Armenia and Russia, the business case has been developed to expand factory’s current capacity. In the scope of the expansion, it is planned to acquire a new production area, increase the range of raw materials import with new large storage, supplement its ongoing store chains with 2 more and introduce an export-oriented production system.
