Zoomerang co-founder, David Grigoryan, told Investin.am that the collaboration was initiated by Instagram. As part of this collaboration, they plan to improve the content creator experience on Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels.

Zoomerang is a popular video editor that allows you to bring your own video to life. It allows users to shoot videos, season them with their favorite music and effects, and interpret ideas to their liking. The application allows users to shoot video part by part and apply live effects/filters to it while recording to make it more attractive. Also, the users can bring their ideas to life with their feature-rich editor, choosing from a variety of editing tools such as text, stickers, overlays, effects, and more. To make videos more lively and colorful, users can add attractive filters and effects from more than 50 categories.

The app has over 30 million downloads on the Appstore and Google Play, 20 million video clips, and over 10 million video templates created per month from around 200,000 creators.

Earlier in 2022, Zoomerang raised $250,000 from the Armenian venture fund BigStory VC, which plans to invest $10 million in about 24 Armenian startups over two years.
