A medical center of approximately 450 square meters is being built in the village of Dsegh, Lori Region. It is envisaged that as a result of this work the medical center will become the most innovative and saturated in rural communities of Armenia. The medical center being built in Dsegh is unprecedented in its scale. It will serve 15 nearby communities with free medical services. The medical staff will comprise 8 doctors, 2 dentists, 18 nurses, 1 laboratory assistant, providing early detection and dental services. In addition, specialists’ visits from various health centers in nearby cities (cardiologists, endocrinologists, others) will be organized to diagnose and treat a wider range of diseases.
