Construction of the residential complex «DEFANSE», implemented by «Defens House» company, which is the largest urban planning program in the history of independent Armenia, has started in the Achapnyak Yerevan community. The cost of the project is estimated at approximately 2 billion drams, and the construction works are expected to be completed in 2025.
The complex is built on a plot of 128 hectares. It will be equipped with 2,500,000 m2, of which 1,500,000 m2 will be allocated for residential houses, 500,000 m2 for a modern Business and Information Technology Centre. A further 500,000 m2 will contain areas of public importance, including:
- Higher Education Institutions
- More than 2 schools
- About 10 Kindergartens
- Modern multifunctional diagnostic center (branches of well-known European medical institutions)
- Large Sports Complex
- 15 open and closed courts
- Basins
- Treadmills and Bicycles
- Supermarkets
- Cinemas
- Cafes, restaurants, and other entertainment venues
To ensure the comfort of residents and guests, it is planned to create a 2-floor parking space of 10 hectares. In the residential complex "Defanse" can live 20-25 thousand inhabitants.
