Tashir will build a new TPP with a capacity of 126 MW in the city of Noyemberyan. The project will be aimed both at meeting the needs of electricity in Armenia and export to Georgia. As part of the construction, the company undertakes to use the latest technologies that meet international standards, which will contribute to environmental protection. About 150 people will be involved in the construction of the thermal power plant. The annual supply of electricity at the new TPP will amount to about 1 bln. kWh, which will increase the reliability of power supply in Armenia, the level of export and competitiveness in the electricity market. Construction of the TPP will begin this year and last approximately two years. The total cost of construction will be more than 120 million dollars.

Another TPP with a capacity of 50 MW will be built on the territory of Hrazdan TPP. At the first stage, 4 gas-piston generators using the latest technologies of 12.5 MW will be installed. At the second stage, it is planned to increase the capacity of the station twice to 100 MW. MAN Energy Solutions company equipment will be used at the station. Installation of new generators will reduce emissions into the atmosphere and have the least impact on the environment. The station will be built by the end of 2024. The total amount of investments and stage will be about 30 million. euro 25 jobs will be created. Annual electricity production will amount to 400 mln. kWh
