Armenia is the absolute leader in the region in attracting venture investments. Almost 90% of all venture investments in the region of the South Caucasus and Central Asia, made in the amount of $139 million in the first half of 2023, went to Armenia, according to the report Venture Eurasia from analytical company Innotechnics.

In 2023, Armenia attracted $122 million of venture investments, and the number of deals was 20. During the same period, 4 of the 5 largest investment deals in the region were concluded with Armenia (Gecko Robotics: $73 million, Fastex: $23.2 million, Britive: $20 .5 million, Prelaunch: $1.5 million).

Venture investments are a form of financing startups and young companies, usually with high growth potential. Investors of venture investments provide capital in exchange for a share in the company and actively participate in the management and development of the business.
