The company is established by Pierre and Diran Baghdadians, two brothers who were repatriated from France and Austria. This high-quality handmade chocolate production is located in Ashtarak. The name of chocolate consists of the French and Armenian words: Gourmet in French means lover of delicious food, and the word dourmé is of Armenian origin, which means chocolate. "Gourmet Dourmé" is one of the fastest-growing Armenian brands.
