Work on cleaning Lake Yerevan has started, and a recreation area is being created simultaneously. It is planned to improve the lakeshore area of 2.8 hectares, install benches, and urns, build a sports ground, a bicycle track, and an alley, illuminate the territory with energy-saving lamps, as well as to carry out landscaping.

In 2022, it is planned to install a cage on the Hrazdan River, organize measures for garbage removal, as well as collect and remove about 12,500 cubic meters of waste. For this work, 60.43 million drams will be allocated.
This year, the sector of greenhouses and garden nurseries will be expanded. Of the 25 hectares territory, only about 10 hectares are used. Most of the trees and flowers planted in the city are now grown in greenhouses and garden nurseries. About 30 employees grow about 60 species of plants, including those listed in the Red Book.
