A new branch of the Educational Center of Creative Technologies TUMO will be opened on the site of the old railway station of Kapan, Syunik region. The reconstruction of the building is planned to be completed in 2023. To make the educational program «TUMO» available for teenagers living in all communities of the Syunik region, within the framework of the initiative «TUMO Armenia» it is planned to open a center in Sisian, as well as 6 TUMO boxes in Goris, Kajaran, Megri, Shaki, Shinuhayr and Tegh villages. The Qajaran and Meghri boxes will be connected to the Kapan Tumo boxes, and Sisian to the Goris, Shaki, Shinuhayr, and Tegh boxes.

The TUMO Creative Technologies Center is a free educational center for children from 12 to 18 years, specializing in design and technology.
The Tumo Centre was opened in 2011 in Yerevan. Currently, there are four Tumo Centres in Armenia: Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri, and Stepanakert. Outside Armenia, there are 7 international centers in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana, Berlin, Kyiv, and Lyon. In the near future, it is planned to open centers abroad: in California, Tokyo, and Nur Sultan.
Over the past 10 years, the IT sector in Armenia has shown unprecedented growth, recording an average annual growth of 23%. Over the past two years, more than 20 start-up companies in Armenia have together received 700 million dollars of investment. Armenian start-ups are exempt from taxes on business, and the income tax for employees is 10%. According to 2021 data, the total turnover of IT companies operating in Armenia exceeded 1 billion dollars. As of 2021, the industry employs 29,000 professionals.
