Details

Alluria classic is of a very dark red/ruby color, very bright and shiny. On your nose, it smells a lot of cherry syrup, and blackberry syrup. On your pallet, it is full of wild berries, dark chocolate, cherry syrup, and fresh acidity at the end, with a long aftertaste. It goes great with aged cheese, salami, steak, barbecued fish

About business

The Machanyan family's winemaking traditions began in a small village called Alyur near Van. The name of the village comes from the Alluria River, which flowed around the village. The company's current vineyards are located in St. Ararat Valley in the city of Etchmiadzin, where the warm climate and sandy soil lead to a perfect harvest. The wines are made by traditional, natural methods with commercial yeasts or sulfites added.
