Vine Cliff Hotel in Areni

Within the period 2008-2019, the number of tourists visiting Armenia has increased 3 times from 575.000 people to 1.932.000 people. Being a cradle of winemaking, Armenia has become a leading destination for wine tourism. The latter trend has become trendy, especially within 5 years when the Irish expedition in Areni, South of Armenia discovered the earliest known winery dating back to 6000 BC. With this in mind and given limited hospitality infrastructure in the area, the owners of the company has embarked on building a VineCliff Boutique Hub in Areni. The 700 sq.m. land plot has already been acquired and cleared of all existing structures, all the corresponding construction permits are secured from the local authority. The Hub will consist of an eleven-room 3-star hotel with a restaurant (The Vine Cliff Hotel) and a wine tasting facility. The four-floor building will have on its Level 1 storage, spa, and sauna coupled with the steam room. Levels 1 and 2 will also cover the 11 guest rooms, Level 4 – a rooftop bar. The hub will invite its guests to discover and experience Areni and its surroundings - its land, nature, history, viticulture and winemaking combined with additional tourist services. The hub will cater primarily to enotourists, both local and international, who will be offered a range of services such as dining, wine tastings, and various tours of the surrounding area. The hub, given its location, the wine making credentials, and the increasing importance of ecotourism, coupled with the multiple revenue streams will deliver a competitive ROI.

Distrikt Sustainable IT Hub in Gyumri

Shirak

The Distrikt has already had a significant impact on the City of Gyumri, generating notable economic output, supporting jobs in the IT sector, and will contribute large amounts of labor income across different industries furthermore planning to expand by creating Distrikt Sustainable IT Hub in the city. In order to continue this growth, the company will be making a massive investment in people, education, technology research, infrastructure, agriculture, and the development of Gyumri plus the Shirak region. The Distrikt Sustainable IT Hub will be located in the former 7th fortified region in Gyumri in the place of an abandoned military unit covering 21 ha of territories. The company has adopted United Nations' SDGs as a core pillar of the business model and has set an ambitious goal –plus become the 1st fully SDG compliant community in the world. The project’s future development and modernization comprise over 50 IT start-ups, an artisan center & manufacturing studios, retail stores and apartments, green areas and farming center, visitor serving amenities and facilities, and many more. The Distrikt will create 500-800 permanent jobs in the IT sector, retail, and hospitality industry. It expects to host annually up to 10,000 tourists, digital nomads, as well as more than 20 IT-oriented events & festivals. The overall project development cost is estimated at $20,000,000 for both land/infrastructure and entrepreneurial startups. The initial stage will cover investments of $2,000,000 and cover a 5-year-plan, including but not limited to the infrastructure development, planting of 15,000 trees, a dozen buildings for IT start-ups, a main co-working facility, a creativity center for art & design, a collaboration workshop for light industrial production, office rentals, 5 greenhouses, restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues and much more.

Scream of Soul Rope Jumping

Vayots Dzor

Rope jumping is an extreme type of sport when one jumps holding the rope into a 100-meter-deep gorge. As of now, there is no such official stationary attraction in Armenia. In the light of the rising demand for rope jumping, Scream of soul plans to switch from occasional rope jumping in different areas to the installation of a stationary flight and service point in the village of Agarakadzor (Vayots Dzor province) at the Grav Gorge. The free fall here will be 70 meters, 5 seconds, followed by a long swing. After the flight, the customer will be lifted with a special flight mechanism (swan). The stationary flight and service point will be built in accordance with European standards. After having a stationary flight and service point it will be possible to serve weekly 40-60 customers instead of 15-20 customers, as well as possible to offer couple flights and flights through an established system thus increasing the number of customers who otherwise would be frightened to try rope jumping. The stationary point will also be able to offer a rest area, waiting room, water, and hot food for the customers.
