Cascara LLC was founded in 2020. Its founders own a vineyard in Taperakan village, Ararat province. In the same year, Cascara harvested its first vintage. Cascara’s first wine, under the brand name Stork (dry white wine made of Kangoun grape variety, with an ABV of 12.5%), was released into the Armenian market in the summer of 2021. It is currently listed in over 20 establishments across Yerevan, including restaurants and specialized wine and spirits stores. Since the autumn of 2021 Stork is also available in the UK market. The company's winery in Ashtarak community was set up in 2021 and will produce its first vintage in 2022.
